Dear Diary
We started our journey to Llandudno at about 8.45 this morning. We waved goodbye to our families and off we went. At about 10.15am we stopped at Corley Service Station for a toilet break. After two long hours we finally got to the Sealife Centre. It was amazing. At first we saw this huge fish tank which was symbolising a coral reef. I found out that coral reefs are made from limestone which are the skeletons of polyps. As we walked around we saw lots of amazing and interesting sea creatures. We saw sharks, otters, sting rays, fish, starfish, turtles and anemones.
Around 2.00pm we set off again. After 3 hours 25 minutes we got to Llandudno. Yay!!
We were put in our rooms and started to unpack. After about 15 minutes we came down for dinner, everyone had steak pie but not me (because I am vegetarian) I had vegetable fingers. For desert we had ice cream, yummy and then it was back up to our rooms to get ready for an evening stroll, it was great. We saw a lifeboat coming in from sea. Today was good fun and I bet that the days to come will be even better.

Dear Diary
Today was a hectic kind of day, we left the hotel at 9.15am ish and we went to the rock shop to get postcards to send to parents and other relatives. We then started part of the long walk. We got to the tram station to go up the Great Orme. We got to the top and of all the strange things there was a statue of a goat at the top. We sat down and just as I got comfortable I had to get up again to go to the toilet. Miss Wolfe’s, Mrs King’s, Mr Casey’s and Mrs Gibson’s group went on a walk with some wardens who looked after the Great Orme. We learnt some really interesting facts, such as 90% of the habitat is grass land.
We all met up again and went through the copper mine. I was terrified, I don’t even know why, the walls and floors were wet and everything was so close. I was glad to get out again. The only thing that made me feel better was because everyone was being so kind to me. We then walked all the way down the Orme after we had been to the gift shop.
For dinner I had chicken, potatoes and vegetables and for desert I had jam sponge with custard. Then went out for a walk and here I am writing my diary.

Wednesday 26th May
Dear Diary
I woke up at 6.50am and woke up my room mate so he could wake up everyone and I could go back to sleep. What I did not know was that I had some lovely potato waffles waiting for me ready to eat with my name on them.
We set off at 9.15am to go to the Electric Mountain. It was a long trip but it was worth it in the end. We learnt all about how they work, all of the levers and buttons. It was amazing.
Then we walked up the road towards the Snowden train where we had a long journey towards the top. Then we made it. I was at the top of Snowden the highest point in Wales.
Finally we travelled back down the mountain, then we arrived back at the hotel and I had a lovely jacket potato. Finally we had a nice walk and went to bed. Finally!!!

Dear Diary
Today we got hot, wet and sandy but before an exciting and interesting day I had to get up, which was difficult because as usual my bed was so warm. But I was glad I did, since by 9.15am we were off to Conwy Castle. Once we had “sucked” the coach through a very a narrow arch everyone got out and made their way to the 1.8 kilometre town walls (we didn’t walk that far). Then after overcoming our fear of heights we headed to the proper castle.
Inside the huge walls of Conwy Castle, which was built for the English, we saw dungeons with 12 ft thick walls; bake houses with ovens with space for over 10 children inside and towers with amazing views. Sadly as soon as I began to enjoy myself it was time to leave for the bowling alley.
My final score was not the best (I played in my too small shoes) I came last with 81 points but I still had fun. Before I knew it, it was time to leave and with a stop at the welsh rock shop in between dinner and bowling it was time for our evening walk. Expect today it was not a walk but a competition to see who could build the best sand castle. I still don’t know who won yet but I hope it was my team since we all carried heavy rocks for the walls.
I can’t believe we are going home tomorrow, so I better get some sleep.
